Hello, good morning, stop everything because American's very own princess Meghan Markle (yes, I know she's technically a duchess, don't @ me) and Prince Harry have acquired very exciting addition to their family — a new dog!
According to People, Meghan and Harry got the doggo — believed to be a Labrador — early this summer, and it has joined them at Kensington Palace. The Daily Mail also referred to the pup as the "Kensington Palace Labrador" which is a fancier title than I'll ever have in my life, and now I'm trying not to be jealous of a dog.
According to a royal source, "like the Sussexes, the dog will divide its time between the palace and their country home in the Cotswolds." Same same same. This is actually the second dog for Harry and Meghan: Megs brought her beagle named Guy with her from America to England back in November, so we can rest assured that the new pup already has a friend.
A spokesperson for Kensington Palace declined to comment on this very important dog news, so we don't have any other details. However, I can say that once we get a picture of this new royal pup — and not this creepy one of wax figure Meghan and wax figure Harry with a dog — I will update this post ASAP.
