Miley Cyrus's Nude Photoshoot Isn't Even Her Raciest One

The former Disney star is sorry, not sorry for that now infamous near naked photoshoot.

Miley Cyrus has celebrated the 10th anniversary of that now infamous Vanity Fair cover photoshoot by retracting her apology.

In 2008 the then 15-year-old Disney star-turned-singer posed for renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz wearing nothing but a blanket for the magazine.

Remember this was pre-Wrecking Ball days so the risque shot came as quite a shock to her legion of young fans, their parents and pearl clutching executives.

At the time she publicly apologised for the project.

"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic,' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," she said in a statement. "I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologise to my fans who I care so deeply about."

"Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines," a Disney spokesperson then added.

This morning the singer posted the front cover of a 2008 edition of New York Post on Twitter, along with a big "Fuck YOU".

What a difference a decade makes though. Since then she has gone to appear on countless magazine covers, red carpets and stages wearing nothing more than nipple pasties and high-cut leotards.

Here are some of the greatest photos of her just being Miley - the Miley we know and love today.
