PSA: An 'O.C.' reunion is definitely on the table if Rachel Bilson has anything to do with it

California, here we come.

Rachel Bilson

Fact: There’s nothing us nineties and noughties kids love more than a good ol’ reunion. The whole Gilmore Girls and The Hills revivals were a case in point.

Now one of the leading ladies in one of our other early noughties obsessions, Rachel Bilson, has weighed in on the possibility of an O.C reunion and it’s sounding GOOD.

In an interview with E! News, Rach was asked what she thinks Summer Roberts would be up to now, to which she responded, “People always ask me that and I'm like, 'What was she doing when we ended?' I can't even remember; it was so long ago.”

Which has us like:

But then Rach went on and gave a semi-decent answer, saying, “I’m sure she has kids with Seth. I don't know! She went to Brown, she was an activist, a philanthropist. She’s on a beach.” Yep, better.

Rather than being ‘too cool’ for the show that made her a household name, 10 years on and the actress is still super honoured to have been involved in the teen dramz:

“It's really nice that people loved the show so much and embraced it,” she said. “I'm still so grateful to this day for the opportunity and to have been a part of something like that.”

Since The O.C.'s final ep, Rach adds that the cast don’t really keep in touch anymore (~SOB~), but she does still hang out with the executive producer, Josh Schwartz.

“I haven't seen any of them in a very long time. I always see Josh [Schwartz]. Josh is like my brother; he's married to my best friend actually. I hear things through people and I know people are doing well. Everyone's growing up.”

Then the interviewer asked the question we’ve all been gagging to know the answer to: ‘would you be interested in doing a reunion?’

And the answer is basically a ‘yes’, we’d just have to figure out the specifics.

“I'm always open to things,” Rach said. “I don't know what it would look like with our characters being old now. We were riding skateboards on the pier; I don't know what they do now as 30-year-olds. But it would be nice to see everybody again.”

As for us? We’re 3000% DOWN.
