Parents gone wild.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead

Season three of Riverdale has been a wild ride so far, but the recently released fourth episode was perhaps the biggest revelation of them all.

In the episode, titled 'The Midnight Club', the existing cast all played the young versions of their parents, complete with incredible throwback '80s fashion.

KJ Apa did an incredible job of channelling the younger version of 90210 heartthrob Luke Perry, who plays his dad on the show, while Mark Consuelos's son Michael was brought into the cast to play a young Hiram Lodge.

It had serious Breakfast Club vibes to it and even featured 80s star Anthony Michael Hall, who starred in the original Breakfast Club, playing the Riverdale High school principal at the time.

The episode gave us a little more clarity around the mysterious Gryphons and Gargoyles game that seems to be capturing the hearts and minds of present-day Riverdale teens (it's like a weirder version of Dungeons and Dragons) and gave us an insight into the lives and loves of the Riverdale parents.

Here were the most shocking revelations from the flashback episode...

Penelope Blossom Was Adopted

... By the Blossom family. So, technically, she married her adopted brother, Clifford.

We'll leave you to mull that one over on your own time.

Sierra McCoy And Tom Keller Were High School Sweethearts

They might be having an affair in the present day, by Mayor McCoy and Sheriff Keller were once innocent, loved-up teenagers.

Alice Cooper Got Pregnant With FP Jones' Child

There's a lot of tension between young Alice and FP in this episode—sexual and otherwise. Alice is the resident bad girl, while FP is surprisingly clean-cut.

In one scene, Alice outed FP for living on the Southside but making out like he was a Northsider. In turn, FP shared some of his backstory, revealing that his father abused him and he had hopes of becoming the first Jones to go to college.

They also shared a passionate kissing scene, which sent fans into a tailspin over the revelation Jughead and Betty's parents loved each other.

Later in the episode, Alice took a pregnancy test that came back positive. We can only assume that that baby grew up to be Alice's son, Charles, who she put up for adoption.

FP Had A Thing For Hermione

As Alice was discovering she was pregnant, FP was showing interest in other girls, particularly Hermione Lodge.

Hermione likely shrugged off FP's advances because she was in on Alice's baby secret, plus she managed to keep it a secret for decades, making her one of the most loyal people on the entire series.

Alice And Fred Were An Item

Yep, they had a high-school fling. Present-day Betty wasn't so enthused by the news.

... And They Were All In A Band Together

Fred was the lead singer. Here they are covering Dokken's song Dream Warrior...
