It was arguably one of the biggest scandals of 2012, but Robert Pattinson is keen to move on from the drama surrounding him and ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart.
The two were every tween’s ultimate match-up, after getting together on the set of Twilight, but experienced more than their fair share of drama throughout the on again-off again romance.
The biggest controversy? When Kristen was busted cheating on Rob with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. He was married at the time to a supermodel, which made the whole sitch even worse.
Now, R-Pattz has finally let the world know what he thinks about the drama in an interview with Esquire UK.
“St happens, you know?” he says. “It’s just young people… it’s normal! And honestly, who gives a st?”
Well, obviously not you, Rob.
He went on to admit life post-breakup was the worst, but not because he was mending a broken heart.
“The hardest part was talking about it afterwards. Because when you talk to other people, it affects them in ways you can’t predict,” he says.
“It’s like that scene in Doubt, where he’s talking about how to take back gossip? They throw all those feathers from a pillow into the sky and you’ve got to go and collect all the feathers,” Rob adds.
So it’s pretty evident Rob’s not fussed about the breakup. Good to know.
One thing he’s probably more on-board with? His older sister Lizzie, who just made it to the arena rounds on The X Factor UK.
“She didn’t mention she was related to him to any judges or producers,” says a source. “It’s important to her she does not fall into the trap of just becoming ‘Rob’s sister’.”
