Is Selena Gomez’s new song about Justin Bieber?

Despite the fact that Jelena, AKA one of the most ~controversial~ relationships of all time, ended aaaaages ago, it seems like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez just can’t get over each other.

Selena Gomez has found herself a new bae in The Weeknd, but her ex-boyfriend just keeps coming back to haunt her, in more ways than one.

The Biebs obvs still has Selena on the brain as he recently dragged her new lover in public, calling the ’Starboy’ singer’s music ”wack”.

And now it has been reported that Selena’s comeback song is aimed at and inspired by Justin.

The ’Hands to Myself’ singer took to Instagram to tease her fans with a snippet of her new jam.

The lyrics to the heartfelt song are an obvious nod to the Biebs.

"I had a dream, we were back to 17, summer nights... never growing up," she sings.

Ya know, 17?

As in the age she was when she first met Justin!

Frankly, it’s only fair that Selena should aim a few of her songs at Justin.

As you’ll remember, it was heavily rumoured that Justin’s hit track ’Sorry’ was directed at his former flame.

So it’s about time that Sel direct a song at her scorned ex!

At this point, there has been no word on when Selena’s new tunes will land but we seriously cannot wait to hear the rest of the lyrics to the Justin-inspired jam.
