Taylor Swift has reportedly cut one of her longtime backup dancers, Toshi, from her current Reputation tour after the dancer posted a string of offensive stories to his Instagram.
T-Swizzle fired the dancer who has been with her on multiple tours once she became aware of allegedly sexist content he had posted.
"She has considered him one of her closest friends on the road after recruiting him for her 1989 tour back in 2014," a source told Daily Mail. "But she simply cannot endorse this behavior and to do so would be setting a bad example to her fans."
Screenshots published by the Daily Mail show Toshi is alleged to have posted memes that certainly do not align with the female empowerment values Taylor tries to promote to fans.
For example, one of the stories reportedly referenced the Australian women's soccer team's loss to the Newcastle Jets under-15 boys side in the lead up to the Rio Olympics in 2016. Alongside a picture of a Matilda's player was the mocking sentence, "Back to the kitchen".
In another post, he reportedly made a joke about sexual assault by reposting a meme that featured a blanket, a black van, a bottle of chloroform bottle and shot of a forest with the words, "every girl's weakness".
If he did indeed post that, doesn't he know his boss, Ms. Tay-Tay took a guy who sexually assaulted her to court, and WON?!
Anyway, Toshi's account, @ToshiAdventures with more than 76K followers, has been made private in the wake of the controversy.
Neither Toshi nor Taylor have made public comments about the situation just yet.
