Taylor Swift is booed by fans at friend's wedding

The awaiting fans described the act as ‘very disappointing’ and ‘not cool’.

Since the debut of her new, divisive 'bad girl' image, pop sweetheart Taylor Swift has been the recipient of some pretty strong opinions over the past few weeks. And even some of Taylor's most loyal fans met her with boos after she appeared to dodge them following a friend's wedding this weekend.

Taylor was spotted in Massachusetts attending her best friend Abigail Anderson's wedding on Saturday, and donned a divine burgundy halter-neck gown while letting her loose, curly blonde bob flow. However, when the wedding was over, Taylor seemingly tried to duck out without greeting an awaiting legion of fans who had set up camp outside the wedding venue.

In a video posted by TMZ, Taylor's fans are seen to be evidently not happy about the star shunning them, with some calling the act 'very disappointing' and 'not cool' — take a look below.

Taylor, who clearly didn't want to interact with the crowd, sneaked into an awaiting car as her entourage held up black sheets to hide her from view of the fans (we WISH we were allowed to be this extra on a day-to-day basis). In the words of one YouTube commenter, 'LMAO the sheets were a bit much'.

This all went down just prior to the release of Taylor's latest trap-inspired single, '...Ready For It?', which dropped this morning to a social media storm.

Maybe girlfriend was just a little exhausted (or wasted) after some hard partying with her besties, and wasn't in the right frame of mind to be signing autographs and taking selfies. You never know.
