When does The Bachelor Australia 2018 start?

We can't hold out for much longer.

Ladies, start your engines because the sixth season of The Bachelor starring Nick Cummins is on the horizon.

Channel Ten announced TODAY that The Bachelor Australia will be hitting our screens on August 15th, 2018! And, of course, they broke the news with a cute AF boomerang of the bachelor himself fondling some heart-shaped balloons, so we know that LOVE IS COMING!

That means it's a matter of weeks until you get to see a grown man who voluntarily calls himself 'The Honey Badger' doing things like this:

So why the release delay compared with previous seasons?

Possibly because of those rumours Nick 'The Honey Badger' Cummins, henceforth known as 'The Badge', had to re-shoot scenes over and over because he was struggling to show emotions in pivotal moments.

Or maybe it's so Ten can wrap up their other big ratings winner, Masterchef, around July 26 and milk that finale for all it's worth before moving onto the next big thing.

Regardless, The Badge is gearing up and getting comfortable in the public eye, strutting his stuff at the TV Week Logies alongside future Bachelorette Ali Oetjen and walking head of hair/human host Osher Gunsberg.

Would you just look at sweet baby Osher? He's in his element.

A former rugby union player, The Badge promises to bring some much-needed larrikin energy to the show. And not the kind of larrikin energy we were promised with Richie.

That didn't work out so good.

For a taster of what's to come, let's refer to The Badge's Logies adventure which saw him get blotto with his sisters and give red carpet interviews that included gems such as "all the birds are spruced up," and "I'm sweating like a gypsy with a mortgage".
