HOLY SHIT BALLS! Channel TEN has announced the 2017 Bachelorette and it’s a very familiar face indeed.
Following in the footsteps of our girl Sam Frost, who found love with Sasha Mielczarek in 2015 before their split 18 months later (still not over it tbh), and then Georgia Love, who’s still going strong with bachie bae Lee Elliott, love-hungry Aussie blokes will this year be vying for the attention of…
The TV, radio and music star has revealed that it was her family who egged her on to sign up.
“My Mum was the person who suggested that I should be the Bachelorette. She, along with the rest of my family, know how much it means to me to find the right person to settle down with,” she said.
“I moved back to Australia a couple of years ago and I’ve embraced life back in the suburbs on the Gold Coast. I love having my parents and family nearby, and spending time with my niece and nephews, but I’m missing that one person to share it with.”
There’s still no news on exactly when we can expect to see Sophie get balls deep in roses, with just a ‘coming in 2017’ confirmed so far.
“I'm in the public eye, but away from that I’m just a regular woman and I’m open to committing fully to finding love on The Bachelorette Australia,” Sophie added.
“After life experience with some of the wrong men, what I want to find above all else is a man who is kind and genuine.”
We hear dat.
