Zoë Kravitz wasn’t allowed to audition for the “Dark Knight Rises” for the most ridiculous reason ever

Nope. Nope. Nope.

If you’re up to date with the major blockbusters released over the past few years (Divergent, X-Men: First Class and Mad Max: Fury Road**), you’ve likely come across Zoë Kravitz and thought to yourself, “damn, she can act.

But the actress has revealed that she missed out on role in Christopher Nolan’s last Batman flick, all because they weren’t going “urban”

Let’s all roll our eyes at that one together.

“In the last Batman movie [The Dark Knight Rises], they told me that I couldn't get an audition for a small role they were casting because they weren't 'going urban,'" she told Nylon.

"It was like, 'What does that have to do with anything?' I have to play the role like, 'Yo, what's up, Batman? What's going on wit chu?'”

blood is boiling

While Zoë didn’t reveal exactly which role she missed out on, all evidence points to Catwoman’s roommate Jen, who was eventually played by blonde British actress Juno Temple.

Zoë also she revealed that she didn’t think she’d land the role in Mad Max: Fury Road (a role which she SMASHED btw.)

“I saw the trailer last summer and cried. It took a lot out of me. Being in such little clothing in the desert in a car for 12 hours a day—we all started to go a little crazy.”

“But it was worth every second. I can’t believe I’m in it.” She added.

Clearly, whoever didn’t allow Zoë to audition in the Dark Knight trilogy would be eating their words right now. This girl killing it Hollywood and it’s only the beginning of her career.
