Demi Lovato has weighed in on how she really feels about her cellulite, stretch marks and lack of high gap with some refreshing Instagram content; girl got nothing but love for her lady lumps.
In a late night story on Thursday (April 5) the 25-year-old singer took to her closet where she snapped some selfies in the mirror, highlighting parts of her body society has historically shamed women for, all in a bid to declare she's happy in herself.
On a picture where the Sorry Not Sorry singer can be seen pinching some skin on her tummy and revealing her stretch marks (which are NBD, BTW) Demi wrote: Stretch marks and extra fat... and yet still I love myself 💕".
In another photo the former Disney star -- whose battles with her body became clear in her 2017 YouTube documentary Simply Complicated where she opened up about her struggles with eating disorders, as well as depression, bipolar and self-harm -- drew an arrow between her legs and the words, "Cellulite, and yet I still love myself 💕".
Finally, Dem used a third pic to show her legs touching and said, "No thigh gap for me and yet I still love myself 💕".
She also added, "The boomerang [video] smoothed out my legs. The point is, I have cellulite just like the other 93% of women do. What you see on Instagram isn't always what it seems to be. Let's embrace our real selves. #iloveme."
Of late, it seems Demi has been on a mission to show fans that their lives needn't be dominated by thoughts of self-conscious doubt and criticism and, WE COULDN'T AGREE MORE!
