ASOS stretch marks

Sometimes it seems like Photoshop is fucking everywhere. Where it’s the #flawlessly airbrushed Victoria’s Secret campaigns, awks celeb photo-editing fails, or the endless stream of filtered pics on Insta, it’s rare to see a real pic anymore. Sad, but true.

That’s why it’s so damn REFRESHING when fashion brands say 🙅 to Photoshop and embrace women’s natural beauty, right? Welp, good news y’all ‘cause that’s exactly what one of your fave online stores has just done.

Overnight loyal ASOS customers shopping the brand’s swimwear range noticed that there were pics of models with unretouched stretch marks and acne scars.

Not surprisingly, Twitter was TOTALLY here for it – and their comments will give you serious ~feel good~ vibes.

While this is deffs a step in the right direction, it's also worth noting that there's still a lot more that needs to be done in terms of physical and racial diversity at-large across the fashion industry.

As more variety is clearly what the people (AKA, us) want, the only thing left to do is wait and see if other major retailers follow suit.
