Miley Cyrus has stepped up to defend friend Selena Gomez against Dolce & Gabbana designer Stefano Gabbana's nasty and hurtful social media comments where he called the singer "ugly."
As we reported on Wednesday, the 55-year-old decided to put Sel on blast earlier in the week when he commented on The Catwalk Italia's Instagram account, which posted some photos of Justin Bieber's ex wearing red dresses.
The remark in question was in Italian and read, "È proprio brutta", with THREE exclamation points. Roughly translated, it means, "She's really ugly!!!" And Gabbana didn't stop there. He also responded to a commenter who said Selena, the current face of rival luxe brand, Coach, "looks like a Pomeranian dog," replying, "hahahahahaha is true hahahaha."
Unlucky for Stefano, once Miley became aware of what the designer had said about her pal, the outspoken Malibu singer was happy to call a spade a spade (and by "spade" we mean "dick").
After a fanpage shared a throwback pic of the two former Disney stars, Miley chirpped up in defence of her pal, commenting, "Well what that dick head said (if it's true) is fucking false and total bull shit. She's fine as fuck."
Miley, who has in the past publicly called out Gabbana and his business partner Domenico Dolce, for their controversial anti-IVF stance and homophobic comments (both designers are openly gay), took to Instagram a year ago to congratulate her brother, Braison Cyrus, for waking in a D&G show, while still saying to the label, "I STRONGLY disagree with your politics".
Since attracting the ire of Selenators everywhere, Gabbana has also seemingly been blocking and deleting comments from Gomez fan accounts.
