Dolce And Gabbana's co-founder Stefano Gabbana has a history of trolling celebrities on the internet; in the past he's feuded with Miley Cyrus and her younger brother, Braison, body-shamed Lady Gaga, fought with Elton John about gay adoption, and lashed out at anyone hating on the the women of the Trump family. Now, the Italian designer has taken aim at Selena Gomez, calling her 'ugly' on Instagram.
The remark in question was in Italian and read, "È proprio brutta", with THREE exclamation points. Roughly translated, it means, "She's really ugly!!!"
And the 55-year-old didn't stop there. He also responded to a commenter who said Selena, the current face of rival luxe brand, Coach, "looks like a Pomeranian dog," replying, "hahahahahaha is true hahahaha."
Naturally, the comments have attracted the ire of Selena fans everywhere.
Much like his clash with Lady Gaga fans and anti-Trumpers, Stefano Gabbana has made it clear, via his sardonic social media rants, that he's not interested in being politically correct to win friends online.
In a post last year the designer defended his controversial opinions with a blunt/gross post he captioned, "to all my haters":
An opinion is one thing, but flat out bullying a young woman, especially one who has been open about her body image struggles before, is quite another.
Basically, no matter the political fallout or personal costs Stefano's cattiness evokes, he's indicated he's not changing anytime soon. So if you can't get around his divisiveness, we guess you can be like Chrissy Teigen, Miley Cyrus, Madonna, Elton John, Courtney Love, Victoria Beckham, Ricky Martin, Antoni Porowski and more celebs, who've vowed to #BoycottDolceAndGabbana.
