Kim Kardashian has got a lot of people mad after she took to Instagram on Tuesday (May 16, 2018) to rave on about some lollipops that supposedly help you get a flat tummy.
In her now-deleted post the 37-year-old wrote:
"#ad You guys… @flattummyco just dropped a new product. They're Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they're literally unreal. They're giving the first 500 people on their website 15 percent OFF so if you want to get your hands on some… you need to do it quick! #suckit."
Not long after the post, Kim's choice to endorse was questioned...
One of the most notable critics of lollipop-gate is The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil, who in the past hasn't held back when it comes her views about the Kar-Jenner fam; she previously slammed a blog post from Khloé Kardashian about how to "look thin AF". Anyway, this time Jameela took to Twitter to write this scathing note under a screenshot of Kim sucking on the lolly...
"No. Fuck off. No. You terrible and toxic influence on young girls. I admire their mother's branding capabilities, she is an exploitative but innovative genius, however this family makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to."
Jameela also added:
"MAYBE don't take appetite suppressors and eat enough to fuel your BRAIN and work hard and be successful. And to play with your kids. And to have fun with your friends. And to have something to say about your life at the end, other than 'I had a flat stomach.'"
The post strangely disappeared from KKW's Instagram grid — which Instagram later took responsibility for, saying they 'accidentally deleted' the post. Odd.
However, it seems Kim has finally removed the post for good; more than likely in response to the controversy.
Question: At what point do you have enough money to be able to afford to say 'no' to a few things? Huh, Kik's?
