ATTN: The Cancer Council just unveiled their Ugly Xmas Rashie for 2017

We know what we’ll be wearing to the beach this summer.

One of the greatest injustices of living in the southern hemisphere is that we don't get to wear ugly Christmas sweaters. (As modelled below by Mr Darcy in Bridget Jones's Diary.)

However, the kind folk at The Cancer Council have come to our aid with their Ugly Xmas Rashie.

When the Ugly Xmas Rashie first launched in 2015, it sold out within 48 hours. And TBH, it's fast becoming an Australian tradition.

Each year, they release a new limited edition design. In 2017, the Cancer Council have gone with a true-blue cockatoo design. Yes, it's literally blue! Plus, they will also be selling the original kangaroo design we all know and love.

In all seriousness, the Ugly Xmas Rashie is a great investment for your health. "With two in three Australians diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime - we are always looking for ways to make sure Australians can safely have fun in the sun - and this product does just that," says Cancer Council Queensland CEO Ms Chris McMillan.

"The rashie is rated UPF50+, keeping trendsetters safe while at the beach, with the added bonus of supporting our work in cancer research, patient support and prevention programs."

Are you sold? The Ugly Xmas Rashie is now available for here and will be in some Cancer Council stores across Australia.
