We've got a guilty crush on Rio from 'Good Girls' and we're not alone

Everyone's doing it.

Blair and Chuck. Piper and Alex. Ross and Rachel.

Across television history, there have been plenty of iconic 'will they, won't they' pairings.

In 2018, this title goes to Beth and Rio, characters from the Netflix series Good Girls.

Beth, played by Mad Men's Christina Hendricks, is a housewife and mother of four. Rio, played by Manny Montana, is a career criminal. Their chemistry is off the charts.

GET A ROOM ALREADY.
GET A ROOM ALREADY.

This is, in parts, thanks to Rio's somewhat confusing and inexplicable, yet insurmountable, sex appeal.

And Twitter is feeling it. Hard.

The thirst. It's real. And we're here for it.

That neck tattoo.

That IDGAF attitude.

That smile.

Let's get this out of the way early: Rio is not a good man. He is a member of a criminal gang who was laundering money through Beth's local supermarket.

When Beth robs the aforementioned supermarket with her two besties, she finds herself unexpectedly indebted to Rio and his dodgy friends and Rio doesn't exactly play nice.

But honestly, it's all background noise because look at this:

He's holding a lollipop. His crimes are forgiven.

Since the collective Internet can't have Rio, they want Beth to have him and they want it now.

So much so that there are entire Reddit threads dedicated to the topic: "Can Beth and Rio please hurry up and get it on?"

According to the Good Girls showrunner, Jenna Bans, that's an actual possibility for season two.

"We've got some plans!" she told Entertainment Weekly.

Until we see some kind of sexual tension release, Rio will just have to continue confusing people and making them question their morals.
