Here’s a video of a horny sloth, searching for a mate

He literally searches land and sea.

Sloths are slow. We’ve already established that, right? But has anyone ever stopped to ponder how hard it must be for a sloth to find a mate when they move at such a leisurely pace?

It’d really… slow things down.

In the first episode of Planet Earth II, narrated by the one and only Sir David Attenborough, we follow the plight of a pygmy three-toed sloth as he searches for a mate. The poor little fella swims through the mangroves of Escudo and crawls his way through the forest. Then, he sees her – a lady sloth!

However, this story doesn’t have the happy ending we all hoped for. Unfortunately, the male sloth discovers that she has a baby in her arms, meaning she won’t be keen for ~sexy times~ for at least six months. Dang!

So, the horny male sloth gets on his way and keeps searching…
