The second Mamma Mia 2 trailer just dropped and it's delightful, except for one thing

Ummm... Can we talk about Donna?

The world has been blessed with another trailer for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again!.

After watching it (ten times), as far as we can tell, while much of the original cast is back -- Amanda Seyfried returns as Sophie, and as well as Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgard as her "dads" -- one question remains; where the bloody hell is Donna?

The teaser sees the plot enter a time warp and Meryl Streep is only seen in what look to be possible flashbacks. While Lily James plays a younger Donna being wooed by youthful suitors Sam (Jeremy Irvine), Harry (Hugh Skinner) and Bill (Josh Dylan), everybody seems to be talking about the Meryl version in the past tense?

So, we hate to say it guys, but it appears that Donna might be dead right at the time when her now-pregnant daughter needs her most 😢

But, never fear because the music is back! As BroadwayWorld notes, the new trailer also features an ABBA song that's never been featured in the movie and musical: "Angeleyes," from the group's 1979 album Voulez-Vous.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again lands in theaters July 20.
