This morning's new announcement has officially confirmed that Married At First Sight Australia has a zero per cent success rate, as it's only prosperous couple just called it quits.
To be fair, they had a good run (in MAFS terms), as they were from the first season, which was filmed back in 2015, and remained together the entire time — and they even had a baby together! Yes, of course we're talking about Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner.
Zoe took to Instragram (where she frequents posts Married At First Sight commentary) to share with her 95.6K followers that she was splitting with her reality TV husband, saying:
"It is with sadness that Alex and I would like to state that we will be separating for now. We are determined to ensure our beautiful daughter Harper-Rose continues to receive this unconditional love and nurturing she deserves from both of us. Thank you to our followers and friends who have supported us through the highs and lows over the years."
She tagged her ex-husband in the caption, but Alex is yet to share a statement of his own.
Let's hope that the couple can put aside their relationship woes and continue to raise their one year-old daughter, Harper-Rose, in the best way they can post-breakup.
Good luck guys!
