Everyone on Instagram is clutching their head and doing the ‘migraine pose’

Y’all need a Nurofen?

Last year, our feed was chock-full of influencers sitting like baby deer and doing the 'bambi pose'. However, the internet moves fast — like really fast. So now, six months later, you'd be hard-pressed finding one person resting their thighs on their calves provocatively.

The it-girls of Instagram have moved on. 2018 is the year of the 'migraine pose'.

This Insta-pose is exactly as it sounds — and now that we've pointed it out, you'll definitely see it throughout your feed. The 'migraine pose' involves posing with one or two hands pulling your face up by your temples. Basically, it's exactly what you'd do if you had a hard-core headache or migraine.

Makeup artist Nam Vo coined the phrase — and started a hashtag — two days ago with this parody post:

"I love it because the beauty of your hands frame the face and give it more structure. I always make my models pose this way," Vo told ELLE.com. "It's also a great time to show off your manicure."

We could harp on about this for days. But, obviously, the best way to showcase the trend is via photographic evidence. Scroll down for proof that the 'migraine pose' is catching on:
