The Spice Girls’ ‘Wannabe’ music video just got an EPIC makeover

'Cause, Girl Power.

By Natasha Harding

90s kids know better than anyone that some things never end, including friendship (obvs) and our unconditional love of the Spice Girls. So when we heard that the original girl squad’s ‘Wannabe’ music video has been remade, we got all kinds of excited.

Before you ask, no, it’s not for a revival tour (le sigh). Instead, it’s for the only cause we would rank as more important than Spice Girls 2.0: female rights.

Produced by The Global Goals group, and shared by none other than Victoria Beckham, the #WhatIReallyReallyWant campaign raises awareness about widespread gender inequality issues, including violence against women and child marriage while promoting equal pay and quality education for all.

Apart from giving us major ~NoStALgIc~ vibes, Posh Spice's resounding support of the campaign is literally too much for our hearts to handle. Posting about the vid on her Facebook page, Vic writes, "20 years on - girl Power being used to empower a new generation. I'm so proud of The Global Girls #WhatIReallyReallyWant".

She also went on to make a touching statement about putting a stop to the number of girls dying of HIV.

We feel ya' V.
