If, like us, you’re absolutely OBSESSED with all-things Supernatural ,then have we got some news for YOU.

After 12 glorious seasons, the makers of the SPN universe have decided it’s high time they start work on a spin-off show (because the only thing better than one show with Dean Winchester, is two).

But rather than focussing on the babin’ Winchester bros, the new series is going to focus on kickass gals.

According to Hollywood Reporter the new series, titled Wayward Sisters, will be all about Sheriff Jody Mills (Kim Rhodes) and a group of badass chicks who were orphaned by supernatural tragedies.

Noticing any parallels between this and what happened with Dean and Sammy’s mumma? SAME.

There’s more. With the Sheriff as their leader, the group of women then become a supernatural slayying squad and we’re officially sold.

The series originally started out as a campaign by diehard fans in the SPNFamily and gained so much support it became a thing. As for the name, the show took inspo from the song Carry On Wayward Son, played in Supernatural finales.

The backdoor pilot for Wayward Sisters is set to air as an ep in the show’s forthcoming 13th season.
