We don't mean to alarm you but New Year's Eve is fast approaching. And if you plan to be in Sydney this year, the time to lock down your NYE plans is now. If you don't act soon, your only option will be to tag along to that house party your friend's brother's neighbour is hosting in Marrickville.
Fortunately, there are a whole host of events happening in Sydney this year. Our pick? The beach party at Watson's Bay Boutique Hotel.
On NYE, Watson's Bay are holding a beachside event featuring a DJ set by Luke Million, plenty of booze, food and that uninterrupted view of the harbour. If you want a reprieve from the crowds, the VIP option gets you into an exclusive bar and balcony area, plus drinks and canapés from 6-8pm. For all party-goers, WBBH have organised a pre-booked ferry service so you can drag your drunk ass home after midnight. The third release of tickets are on sale now: $139 for general admission or $266 for the VIP treatment.
If you've already sorted your New Year's plans, good for you - you're more organised than we are. For the third year in a row, Watson's Bay Boutique Hotel is holding a one day beach party on Jan 1. Nothing cures a hangover quite like another drink and a dip in the ocean. Plus, we're sure the toe-tapping tunes of Touch Sensitive and Alice Q will help you to forget about the antics of the night before. For New Year's Day at Watson's Bay, tickets start at $170.
We'll give you three chances to guess where we'll be this New Year's Eve...
