You’ll never guess which emojis Aussies use more than anyone else

Or maybe you will.

drug and alcohol emoji

A survey of over one billion pieces of emoji data between October 2014 and January 2014 from iPhone and Android users has determined which emojis Aussies use most.

The SwiftKey Emoji Report revealed that Australians use "double the average amount of alcohol-themed emoji, 65% more drug emoji than average" and we’re also leading for both junk food and holiday emojis.

So basically, if our emoji use is indicative of anything, we're a bunch of alcoholic drug addicts who like to pig out and go on holidays. Awesome.

While it’s easy to assume that the pizza emoji > all other food emojis, it’s actually lollipops that rank highest for Australians. Pizza does come in at second followed by cake and then chocolate.

Canadians take the top spot for use of the poop emoji. Yay. While Americans take the top place in its LGBT-friendly emoji use.

Interestingly, everyone in the world uses emojis for happy things more often than they do for sad things with seventy percent of all emoji use being positive.

There were no stats on how often is normal to use whinge-face emojis, in case you were wondering.
