It's clear that we can't get enough of dating shows at the moment. But between the reality heavy-hitters Love Island, Married At First Sight and The Bachelor there's a heck tonne of hetero love stories, but literally zero representation for the LGBTQI+ community.
As well as this being a serious visibility issue, we also feel like TV producers are missing a trick because can you imagine the drama that would ensue on a dating show where everyone was bisexual or pansexual?!
FINALLY our prayers have been heard and there is an inclusive dating show coming to our screens super soon! It's going to be called The Bi Life (love it) and it's going to be hosted by the one and only Courtney Act!!
Courtney took to Instagram to say, "As if this summer hasn't been hot enough, @eonlineuk decided to crank it up another notch with #TheBiLife, a brand new British Bisexual+ dating show hosted by yours truly! 💗💜💙 Coming this October on E!".
Courtney Act (whose real name is Shane Jenek, FYI) said, "It's high time there was a dating show for the large number of young people today, like me, who are attracted to more than one gender. In 2018 we know that sexuality is fluid and sharing the stories and experiences, the laughter and the love making, of young bi people is so important".
Courtney's brain-child, The Bi Life, will be a 10-part series, and see a group of singles fly out to Barcelona to find love/their lobster. According to E!:
WE. CAN'T. WAIT.
