No wonder everyone wants to swipe right.

Swiping left (and occasionally right) on a dating app has become such a mindless activity that it really takes ~someone special~ to make you notice them for the right reasons.

On that note, meet Lauren, a stunning 21-year-old woman from San Diego whose Tinder profile has gone viral.

Lauren, you see, only has one arm — something she doesn’t hide, and in fact publicises on her hilarious Tinder bio.

hands down the best catch on tinder
face 10/10
body 9/10
personality 20/10
arms 1/2

Lauren lost her arm around a year ago in a moped accident. “I was going pretty fast on a moped and lost control of it, and I hit the median in the road,” she told BuzzFeed News. “I flew off and hit a sign and it sliced my arm off. I stayed conscious the whole time.”

Despite the accident, it was Lauren’s lucky day, as a police officer who had just received tourniquet training was quickly on the scene, and saved her life.

Since then, Lauren has continued to live her best life, and documented it on social media. Her Twitter account, using the handle @DuckFanAccount, has almost 50,000 followers, and she uses it to both normalise and poke fun at her disability.

“For a while, I wasn’t OK with the jokes,” she said. “But then I started telling the jokes, and it’s kind of helped.”

Lauren’s profile — both on Tinder and in general — got a massive boost last week when the account @MEMESG0D posted a screenshot of her app profile.

And single peeps want to swipe right.

But beyond getting dates, Lauren’s glad her exposure can help other people in similar situations. “I have never really hid it,” she said to BuzzFeed. “People don’t see that very often, so a lot of people DM me to tell me it’s really helpful to them, people who are also missing limbs or are disabled.”

She sounds like a total catch.
