A honeymooning couple have had their holiday end in tragedy after a zip lining adventure in Honduras turned fatal.
The newlyweds, originally from Israel, were seriously injured when they collided with each other on a zipline in Roatan, Honduras, last week.
Following the incident the husband and wife were rushed to a local hospital where the husband died overnight from his injuries while the wife was airlifted to a hospital in Florida on Friday morning. She is now in a stable condition, reports USA Today.
According to authorities, the accident occurred when the couple, who were honeymooning on a Royal Caribbean Cruise, crashed mid-air after the wife became stuck on a point in the line above the treetop canopy and her husband smashed into her.
The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports the couple involved was Egael Tishman, 24, and Shif Fanken, 27.
