Lena Dunham has a new HBO series on the way

And it’s all about a magazine journalist’s life during the 1960s feminist movement.

Lena Dunham has a new HBO series on the way

All hail the Television Gods, because Lena Dunham is producing and directing Max, a new HBO comedy series based around feminism in the 1960s.

Sounds like a dreamy watch, right?

According to reports, the show is set in 1963 and will focus on the life of a junior magazine employee – Maxine Woodruff – and her experience with the women’s movement struggles during the era. Lisa Joyce is said to be playing the main character.

Other Girls’ producers, Jenni Konner, Murray Miller and Ilene Landress are also on board with Lena to make the show happen.

And if Girls is anything to go by (which it IS), then we can expect to binge watch/love it.

Now hurry up and happen.
