The cast of Mean Girls is celebrating October 3rd in a charitable way this year. Gretchen Wieners (Lacey Chabert), Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried), Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett), and Damian (Daniel Franzese) have joined forces once again—13 years after the cult-favorite comedy premiered—to raise money for the victims of Sunday night's Las Vegas shooting, the deadliest in recent U.S. history.
The stars have established their own GoFundMe page with the goal of reaching $300,000, which will go entirely to the National Compassion Fund, an organisation that helps victims of mass-casualty crimes. They're asking fans to donate as little as $3 (for October 3rd, duh) to the cause.
"Guys, look. We know fetch is never gonna happen," Chabert says in the video, quoting her character's signature vocabulary. "But we can make this happen."
"On October 3rd, I'll ask you what day it is," Bennett continued. "But we'll also ask you to help," Chabert added.
"So you go, Glen Coco," Franzese chimed in. (Unfortunately he didn't serenade us with "Beautiful," but we'll take it.)
Watch their video below. You can give $3 (or more) to the Mean Girls for Las Vegas fund at gofundme.com/october3.
