The woman who accused Nick Carter of rape says “I forgive you”

She broke down on Dr. Oz, sharing her story.

Just last week Melissa Schuman bravely shared her story of sexual assault online, accusing Backstreet Boy, Nick Carter, of raping her when she was only 18-years-old.

Nick has since come forward in a statement, denying all of Melissa’s allegations, saying: “Melissa never expressed to me while we were together or at any time since that anything we did was not consensual,” which goes against Melissa’s story that describes her saying ‘no’ on multiple occasions.

Now, Melissa has gone on the US TV show, Dr. Oz, to discuss her claims and how she is dealing with things now.

Much to the audience’s surprise, Melissa claims that she forgives Nick, and went on to explain what she would say to him now about their situation.

Melissa was visibly extremely upset during the interview, with her voice cracking and tears rolling down her cheeks multiple times, but she tried to remain strong and brave — arguably for the “other victims” she refers to in her speech.
