'SNL's' take on Trump and Turnbull's phonecall is legit hilar

(And scarily real, tbh.)

Alec Baldwin on Saturday Night Live.

In case you didn't catch the news last week, President Donald Trump rang up Australia's Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, to have a little chat — and, let's just say, it didn't go too well.

Whilst Turnbull didn't really elaborate on the contents of the call, most White House insiders concluded it was bad. Really bad.

Following that, news sites, social commentators and celebrities alike admonished Trump for destroying America's long-standing relationship with Australia:

And, like any other important world event, the incident didn't go unnoticed by Saturday Night Live, either. SNL, which was hosted by Kristen Stewart for the night (who took the opportunity to discuss Trump's obsession with her), aired a skit where old Donald, still played hilariously by Alec Baldwin, called up the leaders of Australia, Mexico, Germany and Zimbabwe.

In the skit, Donald is egged on by Steve Bannon — who is portrayed literally as the grim reaper (although that's not totally inaccurate, lol) — and pretty much f*cks up every single call. Not unlike what he did in real life.

In the conversation, Turnbull thanks Trump for still "accepting our refugees", elaborating, "President Obama said America would accept 1200 refugees… Your country’s compassion will not be forgotten."

Trump then ends the call with, "No, no, no. No refugees. America first. Australia sucks. Your reef is failing. Prepare to go to war."

Oh yeah, and it prooobably doesn't help that the White House doesn't even know Turnbull's actual title:
