The latest evidence presented before the Brisbane Supreme in the Warriena Wright murder trial explains what happened moments after Wright plunged to her death from Gable Tostee’s 14th floor Gold Coast balcony in August 2014.

Phone records presented by the prosecution reportedly state that just one minute after Wright’s fatal fall, the accused made a phone call to criminal law firm Potts Lawyers. Notably, not an ambulance or the police.

Minutes later Tostee was then captured on CCTV footage exiting his apartment and wandering around the Gold Coast entertainment precinct for about an hour. On his walk, Tostee purchased pizza and made a phone call to his father.

Forensic medical officer, Nelle Van Buuren, also told the court Tostee had abrasions of his cheek, nose, shoulder and knee when he was examined on August 8 but could not determine when or how they were caused.

Tostee has pleaded not guilty. This story is developing.
