Pink wedding

Ever since Pantone announced ‘rose quartz’ as the colour of the moment, we’ve been seeing it absolutely everywhere. From pink pastel hair to edgy AirbnBs, the hue is deffs trending RN.

But one place we didn’t expect to spot the pretty hue was on a bride. That is, until we saw this wedding.

Sydney gal, Grace Limon decided to ditch convention and ask her bridesmaids to wear white for her wedding while she opted for a dusty pink dress. The result? TDF.

“My fave colours are pink and purple, but I never thought that I would actually find a dress in those hues,” Grace told “I honestly thought I’d have to settle with a white gown so I was really happy when I saw an Instagram of this number by Hayley Paige.”

“My father I think was the biggest fan of the dress (surprisingly!), he was just so amazed at the colour and style and mentioned in his speech that it was the most beautiful dress he had seen. The guests loved the dress too, which I was really surprised about because I didn't think people would love it as much as they did!!”

So why did the bridesmaids wear white, you ask? Simple. It was the best hue to match.

“White was the only colour that I thought was going to work with my dress, I didn't want anything dark. I wanted it to look clean, classy and to contrast with my dress.”

But switching the traditional colours around was not without a hitch, causing a hilar pre-wedding mix up.

“When the hire car driver pulled up at our hotel to pick us up to take us to the church, the driver asked my sister (bridesmaid).. ‘are you Grace?’ because she was wearing white, he thought she was the bride!! When I walked out (as he couldn't see me as I was inside) I was like ‘Noo, no, I'm the bride!’ and I think he was shocked.”

We don't know about you but we're OBSESSED with everything about this wedding.
