Paris Hilton's engagement ring cost $2 million and we wouldn't expect anything less

Good one, Chris.

When Chris Zylka decided he was going to propose to Paris Hilton, he had a pretty big job ahead of him in terms of locking down the ring. Y'see, when you decide you're going to make an heiress your wife, you have to think BIG.

But Chris knows what's up, which is why he tapped celebrity jeweller Michael Greene about five or six months ago to design the engagement ring that's worth $2 million.

Michael Greene told TMZ that the huge diamond has 20 carats and took four months to cut. When Chris picked up the ring before leaving for his Aspen ski trip with Paris, he was reportedly "so nervous" — which is understandable when you have a ring in your pocket that costs more than some houses, and you're planning to propose.

It was obviously perfect for Paris, who said "yas" to Chris' proposal and added that she was "So happy & excited to be engaged to the love of my life. My best friend & soulmate. Perfect for me in every way. So dedicated, loyal, loving & kindhearted. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! You are my dream come true! Thank you for showing me that fairytales do exist."

Let's take a closer look at that ring.

Paris was so excited to get that rock on her finger that after saying yes, she took the box from Chris and put it on herself.

For the next few days of her trip, her new $2 million engagement ring was the perfect accessory for her blingin' snow look.

And she even made sure her to show off her ring on the slopes by wearing fingerless gloves. Frostbite be damned when you've got a $2 million rock that everyone needs to see!

Innnterestingly, Paris' engagement ring — which is actually her third, since she's been engaged twice before — has drawn comparisons to another major celebrity engagement ring. Eagle-eyed fans think Paris has the same engagement ring as Cardi B, who's wearing a massive 9-carat pear-cut ring from her fiancé, Offset (of Migos fame).
